3-D! (You’ll need the glasses)

May 20, 2009

Nickelodeon has some of their 3D comics online here: Nickelodeon Magazine – Nicktoon Comics, although you will need the classic red/green glasses. Maybe you have a pair lying around? My comic, which atypically I was rather pleased with is called Hercules Vs. Zeus. There are also wonderful comics by Kim Deitch, “It’s 4-D!”, and by R. Sikoryak, “the Lost Treasure of the 3D!”

Fantagraphics have set up a pre-order page for the Thrizzle book, and on it is a downloadable excerpt: Fantagraphics Books – Tales Designed to Thrizzle Vol. 1 [Pre-Order]

Thanks Fantagraphics! I’m excited, it turned out nice!

Snake’N’Bacon TONIGHT 12:45 AM!

May 10, 2009

That’s right- turn on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim at quarter to one tonight- you’ll see Snake’N’Bacon, the Pilot. (And stay tuned afterwards for The Mighty Boosh, it’s really worth it as well).Picture 4

Snake’N’Bacon: Date Mixup!! Not tonight, tomorrow night!

May 9, 2009

SO: apparently when Adult Swim told me that Snake’N’Bacon was being broadcast May 10th at 12: 45 AM, they actually meant May 11th at 12:45 AM. This means the show is on Sunday/Monday, not Saturday/Sunday. James Urbaniak assures me that this kind of “datespeak” is absolutely normal in “the biz,” and that I’m the idiot for making this mistake. Well, alright, I can accept that. SO if you stay up Sunday night, until you are technically in Monday, till 45 minutes past Midnight, that’s when the show will be. Right before the excellent the Mighty Boosh.

Among the unprecedented line-up of talent assembled for Snake’N’Bacon: The TV show, many names stand out. But only one is Peter Serafinowicz. A walking, talking symbol of the unfairness of everything, he is talented, handsome, and one of the funniest people I know. Now he has his own website: you have no excuse for not experiencing the awesomeness! Peter Serafinowicz
